The advent of the air knife coater in the 1930s marked the birth of the modern paper coating industry. The air knife coater overcomes the above shortcomings of the brush coater and is rapidly promoted, resulting in a sharp increase in the output of coated paper.

Three, scraper type

The first patent for a scraper coater appeared in the 1950s. Since then, the technology of scraper coater has been rapidly developed. According to the different feeding equipment, scraper type and scraper installation position, scraper coating head is also divided into many kinds, such as hard blade scraper coater, drag blade scraper coater, soft blade scraper coater, fountain feeding scraper coater, short stay scraper coater, Beale blade coater, scraper coater.

Four, roll type

Roller coating is to apply paint to the coating surface with a coating roller, and the in-machine coating is mainly based on this type of coating machine. The amount of coating can be adjusted by the pressure between the measuring rollers, the pressure is strengthened, the amount of coating is reduced, and the amount of coating is reduced. Five, spray coating

Spray coating technology is a non-contact coating method, using controlled high-pressure spray technology to coat paper or board on one or two sides (sizing).

Six, curtain coating

The multilayer curtain coater can give the inkjet paper surface three layers (bottom, absorption and top) after a single coating operation, and can obtain a uniform coating on the uneven surface of the paper

Seven, slit coating

The slit coating head comprises a coating liquid storage tank; The pump is used to press the coating liquid in the coating liquid storage tank to the nozzle through the supply line; The control part is used to control the work of the pump and nozzle, and the pressure detection part is used to detect the pressure of the pipeline. When the pressure reaches the predetermined pressure condition, the nozzle removes the coating liquid.
