Flat knife cutting: is the same as a razor, the single-sided blade or double-sided blade is fixed on a fixed tool holder, and the knife is dropped in the process of material work, so that the knife cuts the material lengthwise to reach the purpose of cutting.

Round knife slitting: Round knife slitting can be divided into tangential slitting and non-tangential slitting.

Tangential scuttling means that the material is scuttled from the tangential direction of the upper and lower disk knives. This scuttling pair is convenient, and the upper and lower disk knives can be directly adjusted according to the scuttling width requirements. Its disadvantage is that the material is simply drifting at the cutting point, so the accuracy is not high, and it is generally not necessary now.

The non-tangential cutting of the coating machine manufacturer is the wrapping Angle of the material and the lower disk knife, and the lower disk knife falls to cut the material. This slitting method makes the material less prone to drift. However, the adjustment knife is not very convenient, the whole shaft is removed when the lower disk knife is installed. Round knife cutting is suitable for cutting relatively thick composite film and paper.

Extrusion scuttling: Extrusion scuttling is not common in the domestic scuttling machine, which is mainly composed of pneumatic knives that are synchronized with the material speed and the bottom roller and the scheduling convenience of the material. This cutting method can be used to cut relatively thin plastic films, but also to cut relatively thick paper, non-woven fabrics and so on.

The traditional control scheme of the cutting machine of the coating machine manufacturer is to use a large motor to drive the shaft of the rewinding and unwinding, add a magnetic powder clutch on the rewinding reel, and control the resistance by dispatching the current of the magnetic powder clutch to control the tension on the surface of the material.

Magnetic powder clutch and brake is a special automatic implementation element, it is filled in the working space of the magnetic powder to transmit torque, change the excitation current can change the magnetic state of the magnetic powder, and then schedule the transmitted torque. It can be used for stepless speed regulation from zero to synchronous speed, suitable for high-speed section fine tuning and small and medium power speed regulation system. It is also used in unwinding or rewinding tension control systems that schedule torque by scheduling current to maintain constant tension during the winding process.
